The Omega Windows Recovery Agent application was designed to effectively neutralize malicious processes from outside the Windows NT Operating System. End-User functionality includes reading, writing, searching, and interpreting the contents of an NTFS formatted disk.
The Omega Windows Recovery Agent is essentially an operating system of its own as it boots the system, initializes the environment, supports various hardware components, and runs completely independent of any currently installed Windows NT Operating System.
In the land of Omega no malware process is running, because the Windows OS is not running. This means that the records on disk are completely static and the malicious code therein is completely harmless to the system. This also means that the operator of the Omega Windows Recovery Agent will no longer be denied, for any reason, the right to access and neutralize any malicious process on disk!
For your convenience we created the Omega Disk Mapper software which works in congruence with the Omega Windows Recovery Agent. The Omega Disk Mapper (ODM) is used to create the Omega Windows Recovery Agent “mapper” file which is used to find the files you choose to neutralize on disk from outside of the Windows OS.
Note that this file is not a necessary component of the Omega Windows Recovery Agent, as the Omega Windows Recovery Agent will operate without it; however, the presents of this file is useful toward making the Omega Windows Recovery Agent user-friendly.
It allows the Omega Windows Recovery Agent to automatically detect and
neutralize any known malicious process on disk without the need for the end-user to possess an advanced understanding of their computer. The ODM makes it possible for anyone of any background to take full control over their machine as if they were a professional. It is therefore up to you to utilize the ODM or not.
